Eye Surgery

Eye Surgery should be performed by a board certified Ophthalmologist. 

Many other specialties perform surgery AROUND the eye, but an Ophthalmologist SHOULD ALWAYS be involved in the care to direct efforts around protecting and preserving vision.

Dr. Vekovius completed specialty training in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery of the eye and surrounding areas, as well as Neuro-Ophthalmic surgical training which involves treatment of disorders which involve the nerves of the eye.
